Privacy Quick Audit ("we", "our", or "us") is dedicated to helping users evaluate webpage privacy signals on demand. This Privacy Policy details how Privacy Quick Audit handles data collection, processing, and privacy when you use our Chrome Extension.
Privacy Quick Audit DOES NOT collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data, web browsing history, cookie content, or page inspection results.
Privacy Quick Audit requests specific Chrome API permissions solely to evaluate webpage privacy signals when you open the popup:
activeTab: Allows the extension to read the title and URL of the active tab to perform privacy checks.cookies: Reads cookies set by the active website domain to analyze cookie count, security flags (Secure, HttpOnly), expiration, and third-party footprint.scripting: Injects a temporary local DOM audit script into the active tab to count third-party resources, tracker domains, mixed content, and sensitive form fields.host_permissions (<all_urls>): Enables the extension to perform audits and read cookies across any website you actively visit.Because no user data is collected or transmitted, no data is ever shared with, sold to, or processed by third-party services.
All audit operations execute within Chrome's isolated extension sandbox environment. No user credentials or sensitive input field values are ever recorded or stored.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The latest revision will always be published with an updated "Last updated" date.
